ANNOUNCEMENT IN RELATION TO THE POSTPONEMENT OF ELECTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND THE SUPERVISORY COMMITTEE

The term of the fourth session of the board of directors (the “ Board ”) and the supervisory committee (the “ Supervisory Committee ”) of China Molybdenum Co., Ltd. (the “ Company ”) will expire on the date of the 2017 annual general meeting of the Company (25 May 2018). As the nomination of candidates for directors and supervisors of the new session of the Board and the Supervisory Committee is still in preparation, in order to maintain the continuity and stability of the work of the Board and the Supervisory Committee, the election of the new session of the Board and the Supervisory Committee will be postponed as appropriate and the term of members of the special committees of the Board and senior management staff of the Company will be extended accordingly. The Company will actively promote the process of election of the new session of the Board and the Supervisory Committee and complete relevant decision procedures as soon as possible and will fulfill relevant information disclosure obligations in due course.

All members of the fourth session of the Board, the Supervisory Committee and all senior management staff of the Company will continue to perform their respective obligations and duties in accordance with the laws, regulations and the articles of association of the Company before the completion of the election of the new session of the Board and the Supervisory Committee.
