Issue of Equity

CMC Markets plc, (LSE: CMCX, "CMC" or the "Group"), a leading provider of online trading, announces that it has issued 25,773 new ordinary shares of 25p each to satisfy vesting of awards under the Group's Management Equity Plan 2015. 

Application has been made for the 25,773 new ordinary shares to be admitted to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and to trading on the London Stock Exchange's main market for listed securities. It is expected that trading will commence on 20 September 2019. These shares will rank pari passu with the existing issued shares of the Group.

At admission the issued share capital of the Group will consist of 289,117,473 ordinary shares.  The total number of voting rights in the Group will therefore be 289,117,473. This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator to determine if they are required to notify their interests in, or a change to their interest in, the Group under the Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
