TRANSACTION IN OWN SHARES

Close Brothers Group plc (the 'Company') announces that on 25 November 2014 it transferred 4,419 ordinary shares of 25 pence each from treasury to participants in its employee share plans.  The transfer price was nil pence.  Following the transfer of these shares, the Company holds 1,563,341 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 149,060,952 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
