ClearView appoints Barry Odes as Chief Operating Officer
SYDNEY, 18 January 2012: ClearView Wealth Limited (ClearView, ASX: CVW) today announced the appointment of Barry Odes to the newly created role of Chief Operating Officer. In this role, Barry will be accountable for Distribution, Marketing, Financial Planning, Operations, Human Resources and Information Technology.
Mr Swanson commented that Barry has the proven track record of quality service delivery and leadership capability to assist in the significant growth opportunities facing ClearView. His experience and knowledge auger well to capture those opportunities and assist in driving long term sustainable value for ClearView’s shareholders.
Before joining ClearView Barry was Managing Director of CMC Markets for Australia and New Zealand. He also held senior executive positions at Goldman Sachs/JB Were, the last of which was Chief Operating Officer of their Private Wealth Division. Barry has deep knowledge and experience in Wealth Management.
As a consequence, Scott Alomes will be leaving ClearView. Mr Swanson thanked Mr Alomes for his excellent work during his short time at ClearView.
