ClearView appoints Greg Martin as Chief Actuary and Risk Officer

SYDNEY, 27 January 2011 : ClearView Wealth Limited (“ClearView”, ASX: CVW) is pleased to announce the appointment of Greg Martin as Chief Actuary and Risk Officer, effective 1 March 2011.

“We are delighted to have one of the most experienced actuaries in Australia as our Chief Actuary,” said Simon Swanson, Managing Director at ClearView. He added, “Greg’s wealth of industry experience and professional knowledge will be invaluable to ClearView as the company executes on its growth strategy.”

Greg Martin BA, FIAA, FFin, MAICD has more than 25 years’ experience advising financial institutions on actuarial and related matters, specialising in life insurance and funds management. Prior to joining ClearView he was a Partner with KPMG and has held a number of Appointed Actuary roles during his career. He is also a Past President of the Institute of Actuaries Australia, a previous member of the Life Insurance Actuarial Standards Board and has served as a member and/or chairperson of multiple industry and professional committees.
