CLEARVIEW APPOINTS CHRIS ROBSON AS GENERAL COUNSEL AND COMPANY SECRETARY

ClearView Wealth Limited (“ClearView”, ASX:CVW) is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Robson as General Counsel and Company Secretary, effective 4 April 2011.

Chris Robson BA, LLB, LLM as General Counsel and Company Secretary will lead the legal, company secretariat and corporate governance functions of ClearView. Mr. Robson has over 20 years’ experience in the financial services industry.

He added, “By hiring someone of Chris’s calibre, we aim to ensure the Company follows best industry practice in areas such as risk management, regulatory compliance and governance.”

For the past eight years, Mr. Robson was General Counsel and Group Company Secretary for Challenger Limited (formerly Challenger Financial Services Group Limited). Before that, he was at Barclays Global Investors Australia Limited as Head of Legal, Risk Management and Compliance. Mr. Robson has also held legal roles at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, the Australian Securities and Investment Commission and the Commonwealth Attorney General’s Department. He is a member of the Law Society of NSW and the Society of Notaries of NSW.
