MMC Appoints Chief Financial Officer

MMC Contrarian Limited (ASX listing code: MMA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Brian Wright as the new Chief Financial Officer effective the 17[th] of September, 2007.

Brian has over 24 years of accounting and funds management experience having worked for Bankers Trust from 1990 to 2003 in a variety of roles. These included Operations Manager responsible for Derivatives and Foreign Exchange within BT’s Investment Bank and as a Business Manager responsible for Equities, Currency and International Bonds within BT Funds Management. Prior to working at Bankers Trust, Brian was an audit manager with KPMG Peat Marwick from 1983 to 1990. For the past three years, Brian was the Chief Financial and Operating Officer for Red Centre Capital, a Global Macro hedge fund based in Sydney.

Brian is a Chartered Accountant and has a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting from the University of New South Wales.
