Appointment of Director

I am pleased to advise that Anthony Eisen has been appointed a Director of MMC Contrarian Limited (MMA).

Anthony has been an executive of Guinness Peat Group (Australia) Pty Ltd (“GPG”) since November 2005. The GPG group is a substantial shareholder in MMA.

Anthony has over 14 years experience in commerce and financial services. Prior to joining GPG, Anthony was an investment banker in Australia with Caliburn Partnership and in the United States with Credit Suisse. Anthony commenced his professional career as an accountant with Price Waterhouse.

Anthony currently represents the interests of the GPG group on the boards of Tower Australia Group Limited, Tower Limited and Capral Aluminium Limited.

I am pleased to advise that the expanded MMA board now consists of Kevin Eley (Chairman), Peter Constable, Anthony Eisen, Ray Kellerman and Peter Wade.
