Civitanavi Systems signed an agreement granting tax relief under the Patent Box regime
Pedaso (FM), January 2sd , 2023 – Civitanavi Systems S.p.A. (EURONEXT MILAN: CNS.MI), a company active in the design, development and production of inertial navigation and stabilisation systems, announces that, on December 28th, 2022, it signed an agreement with the Italian Revenue Agency to access the Patent Box's tax relief for its Intellectual Properties (patents and know-how).
The tax benefit for the five-year period 2017-2021 will be reflected in the 2022 financial statement and the tax benefit will be quantified and disclosed in such financial statements.
Introduced by the Italian Government with the Stability Law of 2015, the Patent Box is a tax relief regime that allows exclusion from the taxation of a portion of income derived from the use of intellectual property, industrial patents, trademarks, drawings and models, as well as processes, formulas and information relating to know-how acquired in the industrial, commercial or scientific fields when legally protected.
