1. Reference is made to the announcement of CITIC Limited dated 27 August 2021, with respect to (a) the payment of interim dividend of HK$0.15 per share for the year ending 31 December 2021 and (b) the option given to the shareholders to elect to receive all (but not part) of their dividend in Renminbi (“ RMB ”) at the exchange of HK$1.0:RMB0.832516.

   • 茲提述中國中信股份有限公司於2021年8月27日刊發的公告，內容有關(a)派付截至2021年12月31日止年度的中期股息每股港幣0.15元；及(b)給予股東以人民幣（「人民幣」）收取全部（惟非部分）股息的選擇權，匯率為港幣1.0元兌人民 幣0.832516元。

2. This is the Dividend Currency Election Form referred to in the announcement set out above. If you elect to receive the interim dividend for the year ending 31 December 2021 in RMB, such dividend will be paid to you at RMB0.1248774 per share. 此乃上文所述公告所指的股息貨幣選擇表格。如 閣下選擇以人民幣收取截至2021年12月31日止年度的中期股息，有關股息將按每股人民幣0.1248774元向 閣下派付。

3. If you wish to receive your 2021 interim dividend in HONG KONG DOLLARS in the usual manner, you are not required to complete and return this election form.

倘 閣下欲按照慣常方式以港幣收取 2021 年度中期股息，則毋須填寫及交回本選擇表格。

2. If you are minded to elect to receive your 2021 Interim Dividend in RMB, you should note that (i) you should ensure that you have an appropriate bank account to which the RMB cheques for dividend can be presented for payment; and (ii) there is no assurance that RMB cheques can be cleared without material handling charges or delay in Hong Kong or that RMB cheques will be honoured for payment upon presentation outside Hong Kong.

   • 倘 閣下擬選擇以人民幣收取 2021 年度中期股息， 閣下須注意： (i) 請確保 閣下持有適當的銀行賬戶以使收取股息的人民幣支票可兌現；及 (ii) 概不保證人民幣支票在香港結算並無重大手續費或不會有所延誤，或人民幣支票能夠 於香港境外兌現時過戶。

3. If you wish your election to be applicable for the 2021 Interim Dividend, you must complete this election form and make sure that it is received by the Company’s Share Registrar, Tricor Tengis Limited, at Level 54, Hopewell Centre, 183 Queen’s Road East, Hong Kong, not later than 4:30 pm on Monday, 11 October 2021 (“Closing Time”). If no election form is received by the Company’s Share Registrar by the Closing Time, you will receive your 2021 Interim Dividend in HONG KONG DOLLARS. The Closing Time will be adjusted, as the case may be, in accordance with (a) or (b) below if a Typhoon Warning Signal No. 8 or above is hoisted, a Black Rainstorm Warning is in force in Hong Kong or “extreme conditions” resulting from a typhoon or a rainstorm are announced by the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China:

   • (a) at any local time before 12:00 noon on Monday, 11 October 2021. In such a case, the Closing Time will be extended to 5:00 p.m. on the same business day; or

   • (b) at any local time between 12:00 noon and 4:30 p.m. on Monday, 11 October 2021. In such a case, the Closing Time will be extended to 4:30 p.m. on the next business day which does not have any of the above warnings in force at any time between 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m..

   • 倘 閣下希望 閣下之選擇適用於2021年度中期股息， 閣下須填妥本選擇表格及確保於 2021 年 10 月 11 日（星期一）下午 4 時 30 分（「最後時限」）或之前送達本公司之股份過戶登記處卓佳登捷時有限公司（地址為香港皇后大道東183號合 和中心54樓）。倘選擇表格未能於最後時限或之前送達本公司之股份過戶登記處，則 閣下將會以港幣收取 2021 年度中期股息。倘懸掛八號或以上颱風信號、黑色暴雨警告信號或中華人民共和國香港特別行政區政府宣布由颱風或 暴雨引致的「極端情況」於以下香港時間生效，則最後時限將根據下文(a)及(b)段作出調整：

   • (a) 於2021年10月11日（星期一）中午12時正之前任何時間生效，則最後時限順延至同一營業日下午5時正；或

   • (b) 於2021年10月11日（星期一）中午12時正至下午4時30分期間任何時間生效，則最後時限順延至下一個營業日的下午4時30分，惟該下一個營業日上午9時正至下午4時30分期間概無懸掛或發出上述任何警告信號。

4. In the case of joint registered holders, ALL joint registered holders must sign. In the case of a corporation, this form must either be executed under its common seal or under the hand of an officer or attorney or other person duly authorized. 倘為聯名登記股東，所有聯名登記股東均須簽署。如為公司股東，本表格必須蓋上公司印鑑，或由公司負責人或正式授權代表或其他獲授權的人士簽署。

5. Compliance by CITIC Limited with this authorization will discharge it from all liability in connection with the dividend so paid.

   • 倘中國中信股份有限公司按本授權支付股息，則其毋須就所支付的股息承擔任何其他責任。

6. Any alteration made to this election form must be initialed by the person(s) who sign(s) it.

本選擇表格上每項更改均須由簽署人簡簽示可。
