ANNOUNCEMENT
CITIC Limited announces that, through its Australian subsidiary, Cape Preston Resource Holdings Pty Ltd, it has acquired all of the issued shares in Balmoral Iron Pty Ltd from Mineralogy Pty Ltd. Among other rights, Balmoral Iron Pty Ltd holds a right to mine one billion tonnes of magnetite ore from mining tenements at Cape Preston in Western Australia.
Completion of the transaction occurred on 24 November 2021, in accordance with the terms of a Takeover Agreement between CITIC Limited, Cape Preston Resource Holdings Pty Ltd, Mineralogy Pty Ltd and Balmoral Iron Pty Ltd dated 27 May 2021.
