Application has been made to The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited for the listing of the U.S.$9,000,000,000 medium term note programme (the " Programme ") under which Notes may be issued during the 12-month period after 20 December 2021 by way of debt issues to Professional Investors (as defined in Chapter 37 of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited) only, as described in the offering circular dated 20 December 2021. The listing of the Programme is expected to become effective on or about 21 December 2021.

As at the date of this announcement, the executive directors of CITIC Limited are Mr Zhu Hexin (Chairman), Mr Xi Guohua and Ms Li Qingping; the non-executive directors of CITIC Limited are Mr Song Kangle, Mr Liu Zhuyu, Mr Peng Yanxiang, Ms Yu Yang, Mr Liu Zhongyuan and Mr Yang Xiaoping; and the independent non-executive directors of CITIC Limited are Mr Francis Siu Wai Keung, Dr Xu Jinwu, Mr Anthony Francis Neoh, Mr Gregory Lynn Curl and Mr Toshikazu Tagawa.
