The following announcement is released by CITIC Envirotech Ltd. (a subsidiary of CITIC Limited) to Singapore Exchange Limited on 28 September 2020:-

Appointment of Mr Tan Huchuan as Group Chief Executive Officer. Mr Hao Weibao will remain as Executive Chairman of the Group

As at the date of this announcement, the executive directors of CITIC Limited are Mr Zhu Hexin (Chairman), Mr Xi Guohua and Ms Li Qingping; the non-executive directors of CITIC Limited are Mr Song Kangle, Mr Liu Zhuyu, Mr Peng Yanxiang, Ms Yu Yang, Mr Liu Zhongyuan and Mr Yang Xiaoping; and the independent non-executive directors of CITIC Limited are Mr Francis Siu Wai Keung, Dr Xu Jinwu, Mr Anthony Francis Neoh, Mr Shohei Harada and Mr Gregory Lynn Curl.

The Board of Directors (“Board”) of CITIC Envirotech Ltd (“CEL”, “Group” or “Company”) wishes to announce that Mr Tan Huchuan will succeed Mr Hao Weibao as the new Group Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”) of CEL with effect from 1[st] October 2020. Mr Hao Weibao will remain as Executive Chairman of the Group.

Mr Tan Huchuan is the current Group Chief Operating Officer (“COO”), and has been with CEL since 2005. He has played a significant role in the development and success of the Group, previously serving as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer and has been responsible for the strategic planning, operations, engineering solutions and business development for the Group.

“On behalf of the Board and management, I sincerely thank Mr Hao Weibao for his exceptional leadership, invaluable contributions and dedicated service to the Group. He has inspired CEL executive teams and employees, and demonstrated significant talent and skill in guiding CEL over the past few years”, said Mr Tan Huchuan, “I look forward to continuing to work with him as Executive Chairman of the Group”.
