CIRCLE GROUP joins the European consortium selected by DG MOVE for the DiVINE project, worth almost €160,000.

Milan, November 26, 2025

CIRCLE Group ("CIRCLE" or the "Company") - an Innovative SME listed on the Euronext Growth Milan market, heading the Group specialized in the process analysis and the development of solutions for the digitalisation of the port and intermodal logistics sectors, as well as in the international consultancy on Green Deal and energy transition topics – announces its participation in the European consortium selected by the European Commission's Directorate-General for Mobility and Transport (DG MOVE) to implement the DiVINE (Digitalisation Vision Inland Navigation Europe) project. In recognition of its strategic contribution, Circle will receive a grant of €157,500.

The initiative promotes the digitalization of inland waterway transport (IWT) as part of the European Green Deal, driving the sector's transformation towards greater efficiency and sustainability. Through DiVINE, the partners will develop a concrete and operational roadmap to accompany the digital transition of inland waterway transport in all navigable basins of the EU by 2035, laying the foundations for a modern, connected, and low-emission logistics ecosystem.

The project aims to develop a sector-wide implementation plan for the digitalization and automation of inland waterway transport, with the goal of promoting the active involvement of stakeholders across Europe through structured consultations and collaborative dialogue. At the same time, it will ensure wide dissemination of the results through an integrated communication strategy that includes the creation of a dedicated website, newsletters, social media campaigns, and industry events.

The consortium is led by the European IWT Platform, together with Ecorys, Danube Commission, EICB, viadonau, and Circle Group.

Within the project, Circle will provide its proven expertise in digital supply chain innovation and coordinate all communication and outreach activities, overseeing the DiVINE

communication plan, the project's digital presence, and the effective dissemination of results to all European stakeholders.
