PRESS RELEASE

CIRCLE Group signs an agreement worth nearly EUR 100,000 for the Expansion of the Automation System of the Rubber Gate in the Terminal of a Mediterranean Port

Milan, February 4, 2025

Circle S.p.A. ("CIRCLE" or the "Company") - an Innovative SME listed on the Euronext Growth Milan market, heading the Group specialized in the process analysis and the development of solutions for the digitalization of the port and intermodal logistics sectors, as well as in the international consultancy on Green Deal and energy transition topics – announces that eXyond, a Circle Group subsidiary and Aitek subsidiary specialized in the digitalisation of the logistics and transport sector and offering innovative solutions to optimise the entire transport and logistics ecosystem, has signed an agreement for the implementation of a major project aimed at expanding and enhancing the terminal's rubber gate access automation system in a Mediterranean port, worth approximately EUR 100,000. The contract, which includes the supply of systems and software licences, is part of a process of renewal and digitalisation of terminal port infrastructure to improve efficiency and safety in loading and unloading operations.

The project involves a multi-purpose terminal, thus capable of handling a wide range of goods. In order to support the evolution of the operations, an extension of the gate automation system, already implemented through Sesamo Gate and MILOS Gate Management & Connectors technology, was planned. The new solution includes a series of subsystems and advanced functionalities for access and transit management, including interoperability with KMASTER systems being acquired as at 27 December 2024.

The project has just started and is scheduled to be completed by 30 June 2025. It involves the installation of various eXyond, Circle-Aitek technologies, including Sesame, GOS, MILOS Gate Management & Connectors. In addition, extensions are planned to upgrade the already equipped lanes, including the introduction of additional licences for vehicle number plate recognition (Sesamo-LPR), ISO container code reading and IMDG code detection. This package of upgrades will also ensure greater interoperability between field systems and authorisation and registration management systems. Interoperability with KMASTER and MILOS TFP is also envisaged.

Luca Abatello, CEO of Circle Group, said: 'We are very pleased with this new contract which

will allow this Mediterranean terminal to benefit from an innovative system by accelerating the digitalisation of its logistics system. This project is part of a broader context of modernisation and technological innovation in the port sector, which allows the main Italian ports to respond in a timely manner to new regulations and the logistical needs of an evolving market. In line with the 'Connect 4 Agile Growth' business plan, reinforced by the eXyond operation at the end of 2024, Circle Group's solutions will significantly contribute to improve traffic management, efficiency of operations and security within the terminal'.
