Directorate Changes

Paul Walker, Ian Duncan

The Board of WANdisco (LSE: WAND) today announces that Paul Walker, Chairman, and Ian Duncan, non-executive director, have stepped down from the Board with immediate effect. 

Paul Walker and Ian Duncan commented:

"As independent non-executive directors, we had not considered David the right person to lead the Company going forwards. Since the announcement of 29 September 2016 regarding David Richards stepping down from the Board, we have been informed that approximately 58% of the Company's shareholders support David's reinstatement as CEO. Accordingly, we have decided to resign from the Board with immediate effect. 

We remain confident that the Company has a unique product portfolio that will be of great value to the leading companies in the big data and cloud market. We wish WANdisco all the best for the future."

Erik E. Miller

Separately, the Board also announces that Erik E. Miller, CFO, has resigned from the Board with immediate effect.
