KOS (GRUPPO CIR): PERFEZIONATA L'ACQUISIZIONE DI CHARLESTON HOLDING
L'operazione, avvenuta sulla base di un enterprise value di € 92 milioni, rappresenta un passo significativo nel percorso di sviluppo e internazionalizzazione di KOS
Milano, 30 ottobre 2019 – KOS (controllata da CIR al 59,5% e partecipata da F2i Healthcare al 40,5%), tra i principali operatori italiani nella sanità, ha perfezionato oggi l'accordo annunciato lo scorso 31 luglio relativo all'acquisizione di Charleston Holding GmbH, gruppo tedesco attivo nella fornitura di servizi residenziali per anziani non autosufficienti e di servizi ancillari per pazienti anziani e con elevata disabilità, da EQT Infrastructure II Fund.
L'operazione è avvenuta sulla base di un enterprise value di Charleston pari a € 92 milioni ed esclude la proprietà immobiliare delle residenze sanitarie gestite dalla società.
Charleston gestisce 47 strutture residenziali, per un totale di 4.050 posti letto e ricavi generati nel 2018 pari a circa € 152 milioni. Dopo l'acquisizione KOS gestisce 133 strutture, per un totale di oltre 12.200 posti letto e circa 11.200 dipendenti. Il fatturato pro-forma 2018 di KOS post-acquisizione ammonta a circa € 700 milioni.

Milan, October 30 2019 – KOS (59.5% controlled by CIR with F2i Healthcare holding 40.5%), one of the principal healthcare operators in Italy, has today completed the agreement announced on July 31 2019 for the acquisition of Charleston Holding GmbH, a German group active in the supply of residential services for the non-self-sufficient elderly and ancillary services for elderly patients with a high level of disability, from the EQT Infrastructure II Fund.
The deal was based on an enterprise value for Charleston of € 92 million and does not include the real-estate ownership of the nursing homes managed by the company.
Charleston manages 47 residential facilities with a total of 4,050 beds and in 2018 generated revenues of approximately € 152 million. After the acquisition KOS will now be managing 133 facilities with a total of over 12,200 beds and approximately 11,200 employees. KOS's pro-forma sales revenues for 2018 after the acquisition amount to around € 700 million.
