NOTICE TO SHAREHOLDERS

For transfer of shares to the Investor Education and Protection Fund

Notice is hereby given that pursuant to the provisions of the Investor Education and Protection Fund Authority (Accounting, Audit, Transfer and Refund) Rules, 2016 notified by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs effective 7'" September, 2016 and subsequent amendments thereto ("Rules"), equity shares of the Company in respect of which dividend amount have remained unclaimed for seven consecutive years or more are required to be transferred to the Investor Education and Protection Fund ("IEPF").

The Company, vide letter dated 14"' June, 2019, has sent individual communication to the concerned shareholders who have not claimed their dividend amount for the financial year 2011-12 and all subsequent years and consequently whose shares are liable to be transferred to IEPF for taking appropriate corporate action. The Company has uploaded details of the shareholders whose shares are due for transfer to IEPF such as name of the first holder and joint holder, if any, along with their number of shares, on its website i.e. www.cipla.com under Investor Information Section . To retrieve the aforesaid information on the Company's website, the shareholders need to select appropriate base year and enter their DP ID & Client ID I Folio Number in the text box.

In case the Company does not receive any communication from the concerned shareholder by 17'" September, 2019, the Company shall with a view to adhering with the requirements of the Rules, transfer the said equity shares to the IEPF. Therefore, shareholders are requested to forward the requisite documents as mentioned in said communication on or before 17'h September, 2019, to claim the unclaimed dividend amount. Please note that no claim shall lie against the Company in respect of unclaimed dividend and shares transferred to IEPF pursuant to the said Rules.

Shareholders may note that both the unclaimed dividend and corresponding shares transferred to IEPF including all benefits accruing on such shares, if any, can be claimed back from IEPF after following the procedure prescribed under the Rules.

गंतवणकदार शिक्षण व संरक्षण निधीमध्ये शेअर्सच्या स्थानांतरणाकरिता

कॉर्पोरेट कामकाज मंत्रालयाद्वारे दि. ०७ सप्टेंबर, २०१६ पासून अधिसूचित गतवणकदार शिक्षण व संरक्षण निधी प्राधिकारी (लेखा, लेखापरीक्षण, स्थानांतरण व परतावा) नियम, २०१६ व तत्पश्चात त्यातील सुधारणा (नियम) यांच्या तरतदीअंतर्गत सचना देण्यात येत आहे की. लागोपाठ सात वर्षे वा त्याहन अधिक कालावधीकरिता दावारहित राहिलेल्या लाभांश रकमेच्या संदर्भात कंपनीच्या समभागांचे गंतवणकदार शिक्षण व संरक्षण निर्धा (आयईपीएफ)मध्ये स्थानांतरण करणे आवश्यक आहे.

वित्तीय वर्ष २०११-१२ करिता आपल्या लाभांश रकमेचा दावा केलेला नाही अशा व परिणामी ज्यांचे शेअर्स आयर्डपीएफकडे स्थानांतरित करण्यात यावयाचे आहेत अशा संबंधित भागधारकांना योग्य ती कॉर्पोरेट ॲक्शन घेण्याकरिता कंपनीने त्यांचे पत्र दि. १४ जून, २०१९ अंतर्गत व्यक्तिगत पत्रव्यवहार पाठवलेला आहे. ज्या भागधारकांचे शेअर्स आयईपीएफकडे स्थानांतरित करण्यात यावयाचे आहेत अशा भागधारकांचा तपशील जसे प्रथमधारक व संयुक्त धारक, काही असल्यास, त्याचे नाव, त्यांच्या शेअर्सची संख्या

कंपनीला संबंधित भागधारकांकडून दि. १७ सप्टेंबर, २०१९ पर्यंत कोणताही पत्रव्यवहार प्राप्त न झाल्यास नियमांच्या आवश्यकतांचा अनुषंगाने कंपनी आयईपीएफकडे सदर समभागांचे स्थानांतरण करील. त्यामुळे भागधारकांनी कपया दावारहित लाभांश रकमेचा दावा करण्यासाठी दि. १७ सप्टेंबर, २०१९ रोजी वा तत्पर्वीपर्यंत सदर पत्रव्यवहारात नमद केल्यानसार आवश्यक दस्तावेज सादर करावेत. कृपया नोंद घ्यावी की, सदर नियमांतर्गत आयईपीएफकडे स्थानांतरित दावारहित लाभांश व शेअर्ससंदर्भात कंपनी विरोधात कोणताही दावा करता येणार नाही.
