Publication of translation of the unaudited semi - annual report 2024

Based on the provisions of the rules of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange, d. d., Ljubljana, Articles 136 and 137 of ZTFI-1 and Article 17 of the Regulation MAR, CINKARNA Celje, d.d., Kidričeva ulica 26, 3000 Celje, publishes translation of the unaudited report on the performance of Cinkarna Celje, d.d. in the period January – June 2024.

In the first half of the year, we achieved revenues of €100.3 million, which is 4% more than last year, and EBITDA of €15.5 million, which is 3% more than in 2023, as well as a net profit of €7.4 million, representing a 5% increase.

The achieved business results exceed the planned targets for this period. Due to the introduction of provisional import tariffs on pigments of Chinese origin, market conditions have changed. We expect an improvement in demand from European customers for goods of European origin.

We have prepared a new business estimate for 2024. Based on currently known data, we estimate that in 2024 we will generate more than €200 million in net sales revenue. We estimate the net operating result for 2024 to be between €15 and €18 million, and EBITDA to be in the range of €31 to €35 million.

The report will be published on the Company's website www.cinkarna.si from 29 August 2024 onwards, for a period of at least 10 years.
