AGM STATEMENT

Churchill China plc (AIM: CHH), the manufacturer and distributor of performance ceramic and related products to hospitality and retail markets worldwide, will hold its Annual General Meeting later today. At the meeting, Alan McWalter, Chairman, will make the following statement:

"I am happy to report that the Group's operating performance since our Preliminary Results announcement on 27 March 2014 has remained encouraging. Sales to Hospitality customers have continued to grow at a satisfactory rate.

"The Board is confident that Group performance in the first half of the year will demonstrate good progress and that at this early stage we continue to anticipate that we will meet our expectations for the year as a whole."
