Retirement of Andrew Roper

Further to the Company's announcement on 17 May 2019, Churchill China plc (AIM: CHH), the manufacturer of innovative performance ceramic products serving hospitality markets worldwide, announces the retirement of Andrew Roper as a non -executive Director of the Company, effective from today, 14 August 2020.

Alan McWalter, Chairman, made the following comment:

'Andrew has served Churchill China in a number of roles over a period of forty seven years since joining the Company in 1973. His executive career included his appointment as Group Managing Director in 1998 and as Chief Executive from 2007 to 2010, at which point he became a non- executive Director. Irrespective of the role in which Andrew has served the business, he has always applied his considerable talents and extensive experience to the benefit of shareholders, emphasising the need to make decisions for the long term. Andrew will continue to provide support to the business and we wish him well for the future.'

The Company has commenced a search process to recruit a further independent non-executive Director.
