AGM STATEMENT

Churchill China plc (AIM: CHH), the manufacturer and distributor of performance ceramic and related products to hospitality and retail markets worldwide, will hold its Annual General Meeting later today. At the meeting, Alan McWalter, Chairman, will make the following statement:

"I am happy to report that Churchill's operating performance remains encouraging and in line with expectations. We continue to anticipate that we will meet our target performance levels for the year as a whole."
