Announcement on Generation Capacity Performance in Q3 of 2023

The board of directors and all directors of China Yangtze Power Co., Ltd. (the "Company") warrant that there are no false representations and misleading statements contained in, or material omissions from, this announcement, and severally and jointly accept the responsibility for the truthfulness, accuracy and completeness of the contents of this announcement.

According to the preliminary statistics of the Company, the total amount of water inflow from the Upper Yangtze River's Wudongde Reservoir by Q3 of 2023 was about 46,028 million cubic meters, representing a year-on-year increase of 15.37%. The total volume of water inflow from the Three Gorges Reservoir was about 136,738 million cubic meters, representing a year-on-year increase of 35.81%.

Affected by the improvement of water inflow in the Yangtze River basin, the total power generation capacity of the six terrace power stations of the Company in Q3 of 2022 was 100,123 GWh, representing a year-on-year increase of 22.77%. Among them, the Three Gorges Hydropower Station realized a generation capacity of 28,764 GWh, representing a year-on-year increase of 43.62%; Gezhouba Hydropower Station realized 5,827 GWh, representing a year-on-year increase of 18.63%; Xiluodu Hydropower Station realized 18,935 GWh, representing a year-on-year increase of 5.23%; Xiangjiaba Hydropower Station realized 10,352 GWh, representing a year-on-year decrease of 1.27%; Wudongde Hydropower Station realized 15,076 Gwh, representing a year-on-year increase of 20.16%; Baihetan Hydropower Station realized 21,169 Gwh, representing a year-on-year increase of 35.81% (the generator sets of Baihetan Hydropower Station had not yet been put into operation completely in the same period of the previous year).

In the third quarter of 2023, the Company's six domestic power stations generated electricity in the following volumes:
