Announcement on Electricity Generation in Q3 of 2021

The board of directors and all directors of China Yangtze Power Co., Ltd. (the "Company") warrant that there are no false representations and misleading statements contained in, or material omissions from, this announcement, and severally and jointly accept the responsibility for the truthfulness, accuracy and completeness of the contents of this announcement.

According to the preliminary statistics of the Company, the total water inflow at the Xiluodu Reservoir by Q3 of 2021 reached approximately 53,161 million cubic metres, representing a year-on-year decrease of 29.59%, while the total water inflow at the Three Gorges Reservoir reached approximately 220,786 million cubic metres, representing a year-on-year decrease of 18.22%.

The gross electricity generation of the Company's cascade hydropower projects was approximately 81,187GWh in Q3 of 2021, representing a year-on-year decrease of 10.83%. Among them, the Three Gorges Project generated 41,507 GWh of electricity, representing a year-on-year decrease of 11.57%; Gezhouba Project generated 6,232 GWh of electricity, representing a year-on-year increase of 15.50%; Xiluodu Project generated 21,837 GWh of electricity, representing a year-on-year decrease of 16.22%; and Xiangjiaba Project generated 11,610 GWh of electricity, representing a year-on-year decrease of 8.22%.

The electricity generation of each of the Company's hydropower projects in the third quarter of 2021 is as follows:
