The China Fund, Inc. Announces Postponement of Annual Meeting of Stockholders
New York, New York, March 23, 2018 The China Fund, Inc. (NYSE: CHN) (the Fund) announced today that its Board of Directors has postponed the Annual Meeting of the Funds Stockholders (the Meeting) scheduled for March 27, 2018 to 1:00 pm on April 26, 2018, at the offices of Clifford Chance US LLP, 31 West 52 nd Street, New York, New York 10019. Stockholders of record as of February 2, 2018 will be entitled to notice of, and to attend and vote at, the Meeting.
The Fund is a closed-end management investment company seeking long-term capital appreciation primarily through investment in the equity securities of companies engaged in business in the Peoples Republic of China.
