On September 28, 2005, the Board of Directors of Chevron Corporation (the “Company”) elected Donald B. Rice to the Board and named Dr. Rice to the Board Nominating and Governance Committee and the Public Policy Committee. A copy of the press release dated September 28, 2005 announcing the election of Dr. Rice is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report and is incorporated herein by reference.
