Grant of long term incentive award

Chemring Group PLC ("Chemring" or the "Company") announces that it has today granted a conditional award over 152,094 1p ordinary shares in the capital of the Company to James Mortensen, a director of the Company, under the Chemring Group Long Term Incentive Plan. No consideration was paid for the grant of the award and no consideration is due on vesting of the award. The award will ordinarily vest on the third anniversary of grant subject to the grantee's continued service and to the extent performance conditions are satisfied. Any shares which vest, post-tax, will be subject to an additional two-year holding period.
