Grant of deferred share award

Chemring Group PLC ("Chemring" or "the Company") announces that on 18 January 2018 it granted an award of 41,143 deferred 1p ordinary shares in the capital of the Company to Andrew Lewis, a director of the Company, in satisfaction of 40% of Mr Lewis' annual bonus payment for the year ended 31 October 2017. The deferred share award will vest in three years' time.
