Appointment of Chief Financial Officer

Elektron Technology plc (AIM: EKT, "Elektron" or the "Group"), the global technology group, announces that following the announcement made on 13 January 2014, that Andy Weatherstone was appointed to the Board of Elektron as Interim Finance Director, the Board is now pleased to confirm that Andy has been appointed to the permanent post of Chief Financial Officer with immediate effect.
