CHARGEURS STRENGTHENS ITS EXCELLENCEMODEL ONCE AGAIN
PRESS RELEASE
Paris – July 5, 2017
Chargeurs Group adheres to the United Nations Global Compact
"Becoming a signatory of the United Nations Global Compact is an excellent fit with our strategy to be a game changer in industrial niche markets. Chargeurs now ranks amongst the most innovative companies in the world in sustainable development, raising its standards and the entry barriers to its businesses even higher", said Michaël Fribourg, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
Chargeurs Group has met with representatives from the United Nations in New York to become one of the latest members of the organization's Global Compact. This initiative is further confirmation of the Group's commitment to achieving both industrial and economic excellence and the highest global standards in non-financial indicators. Its Global Compact membership also enhances the value that the Group is able to bring to its clients, employees, shareholders and partners, and to the local and international communities with which it works.
The Global Compact initiative and its ten core principles bring together the world's most innovative companies in sustainable development who commit, through thematic initiatives that will make a lasting difference, to exceeding the standards of excellence defined.
In joining, Chargeurs undertakes to continually strive to improve its practices beyond the universally-recognized sustainable development principles which it already respects, marking a new turning point in its strategy for differentiation.
