Chalice Gold Mines Limited (ASX: CHN) – Trading Halt

Description

The securities of Chalice Gold Mines Limited (‘CHN’) will be placed in trading halt at the request of CHN, pending it releasing an announcement. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in trading halt until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Thursday, 3 December 2020 or when the announcement is released to the market.

TRADING HALT REQUEST

Chalice Gold Mines Limited (“the Company”)(ASX: CHN|OTCQB: CGMLF), in accordance with ASX Listing Rule 17.1, requests the securities of the Company be placed in an immediate trading halt pending the release of an announcement in relation to a capital raising.

The Company anticipates making the above noted announcement prior to the commencement of trading on Thursday, 3 December 2020. The trading halt should remain in place until the earlier of commencement of trading on Thursday, 3 December 2020 or when the announcement referred to above is made.

The Company is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted or of any information necessary to inform the market about the trading halt.
