Non-Renounceable Rights Issue Allotment

Chalice Gold Mines Limited advises the following in relation to the rights issue allotment pursuant to the prospectus dated 17 August 2010:

1. The date of the allotment is 21 September 2010 and the number of securities for which quotation is sought is 23,500,909 ordinary fully paid shares.

2. The issued capital of the Company following allotment is:
