CGI will hold conference call on November 2, 2004 to discusspreliminary unaudited results

Montreal, Quebec, October 27, 2004 — CGI Group (NYSE: GIB; TSX: GIB.A) today announced that it will hold a conference call on November 2, 2004 at 9:00 am (EDT). During the call, Serge Godin, Chairman & CEO, André Imbeau, Executive Vice-President & CFO, and Paule Doré, Executive Vice-President & Chief Corporate Officer will discuss preliminary unaudited revenue and net earnings results for the fourth quarter and fiscal 2004, and provide guidance for fiscal 2005.
