CGI-AMS selected by the U.S. Department of Justice for information technology support services contract (ITSS-3)

Fairfax, Virginia – November 8, 2004 – CGI-AMS, part of CGI Group Inc. (TSX: GIB.A; NYSE: GIB), is pleased to announce that it is one of twelve companies selected to provide information technology support services under the U.S. Department of Justice’s Information Technology Support Services (ITSS-3) contract. Work will be done under ITSS-3, a multiple-agency, indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract, through competitively awarded task orders potentially worth US$980 million over the duration of the seven-year contract. Task orders can range from support pertaining to information security, systems design, data warehousing and records management.
