CEZ Group completed the sale of Veolia Energie ČR

On 17 April 2025, CEZ Group has successfully completed the sale of its 15% stake in Veolia Energie ČR. The new owner of the stake is VEOLIA ENERGIE INTERNATIONAL S.A., which was already the majority shareholder in the company. The sale agreement was signed in February this year and the transaction was subsequently approved by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic. The sale enables CEZ Group to focus on transformation of the heating industry towards low-emission technologies for the resources, which it fully controls.
