CEZ A.S. — M&A Activity 2023

Today, the sale of CEZ Group s 50percent stake in AKCEZ Enerji A.S.(AKCEZ), owned in a_#160;joint venture together with the Turkish partnerAKKOK Holding A.S. (AKKOK), to Torunlar Enerji Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S.and Baskent Dogalgaz Dag_#305;t_#305;m Gayrimenkul Yat_#305;r_#305;m Ortakl_#305;g_#305; A.S.(Torunlar Group) was completed. The sales agreement was signed in July2022, the transaction was subject to approval by the Turkish antitrustauthority and the local energy regulator. AKCEZ comprises of threesubsidiaries that deal with electricity distribution, energy sales andenergy services.
