CEZ, a.s. successfully signeda loan agreement for 840 mil. EUR to finance the acquisition of a 55.21%stake in GasNet

Prague, March 25, 2024 - CEZ, a. s. (Baa1/A-)signed a loan agreement in the amount of 840_#160;mil. EUR for the purpose offinancing the acquisition of a 55.21% stake in the company GasNet, theleading operator of gas distribution infrastructure in the CzechRepublic. The agreement, which provides the drawing of credit for up totwo years, was signed with a group of seven banks, including BarclaysBank PLC, CaixaBank, S.A. (Spolka Akcyjna) Oddział w Polsce, Citibank,N.A., London Branch, Commerzbank Aktiengesellschaft, Intesa SanpaoloIMI-CIB, Komercni banka, a.s. and SMBC Bank EU AG.
