Quartal 2000: CeWe Color steigert Gewinn 28. August 2000 – Nach einem glänzenden Start ins erste Quartal 2000 berichtet die CeWe Color Holding AG, Oldenburg, daß sich auch das ganze erste Halbjahr gut entwickelt hat. Wie vorausgesagt, konnten die ersten sechs Monate mit einem wachsenden Unternehmensergebnis vor Körperschaftsteuer von EURO 5,2 Mio. abgeschlossen werden, obwohl die saisonale Kurve des Fotogeschäftes erst ab Mai angestiegen ist. CeWe Color konnte mit 25 Laboren in 14 europäischen Ländern in den ersten sechs Monaten 41,0 Mio. Filme entwickeln, das sind 5,1 % mehr als im Vorjahreszeitraum. Die Menge der produzierten und verkauften Farbbilder stieg von 1,347 Mrd. Stück auf 1,422 Mrd. Stück, d.h. um 5,7 %. Während die konsolidierten Umsatzerlöse um 4,8 % auf EURO 183,0 Mio. wuchsen, kletterte das Ergebnis der gewöhnlichen Geschäftstätigkeit um 11,0 % auf EURO 6,7 Mio. Der Cash Flow konnte von EURO 21,4 Mio. auf EURO 23,3 Mio. gesteigert werden, d.h. plus 9,2 %. Die Ergebnisverbesserung ist vor allem auf die internationale Expansion zurückzuführen. Weiterhin wuchs das Geschäft in Mittelosteuropa mit plus 30,8 % besonders gut. Auch in den kommenden Monaten wird die CeWe Color Gruppe ihre regionale Basis vergrößern und weitere europäische Länder in die Marktbearbeitung einbeziehen. In wenigen Tagen wird das 26. Fotogroßlabor mit modernster Produktionstechnik in Budapest in Betrieb genommen. Das gesteckte Umsatzziel von EURO 420 – 430 Mio. ist anspruchsvoll, und der Vorstand geht weiterhin davon aus, daß sich die steigenden Umsätze in verbesserten Ergebnissen widerspiegeln, wenn keine unvorhersehbaren Ereignisse eintreten. CeWe Color Holding AG, Oldenburg, now reports that the first half of the year has shown positive developments. As predicted, the first six months were concluded with corporate profits before corporation tax amounting to EURO 5.2 million, in spite of the fact that the seasonal curve which is typical for the photo business only began to rise from May onwards, CeWe Color was able to develop 41.0 million films in 25 laboratories in 14 european countries in the first six months of the year. This is an increase of 5.1 % compared to the same period of the previous year. The number of produced and sold colour prints rose from 1.347 billion to 1.422 billion, i.e. a rise of 5.7 %. While consolidated sales revenue climbed by 4.8 % to EURO 183.0 million, profits generated by ordinary business rose by 11.0 % to EURO 6.7 million. Cash Flow was increased from EURO 21.4 million to EURO 23.3 million – an increase of 9.2 %. The increase in profits is primarily the result of international expansion. In addition, business in Central Eastern Europe grew particularly well, with a growth rate of 30.8 %. In the coming few months too, CeWe Color will expand its regional basis and include further European countries in its market processing efforts. In a few days, the 26th industrial photo laboratory in Budapest, equipped with the most modern production technology, will commence production.
