Oktober 2000 Die CeoTronics AG erhielt vom französischen Innenministerium den Auftrag für die Ausrüstung von Polizeihelmen mit Kommunikationseinrichtungen. Einschließlich der Bestellung von Sondersystemen für die verdeckte Trageweise beläuft sich der Auftragswert auf ca. 10 Mio. FF. Der erste Abruf von 4.500 Systemen für Helmeinbauten überraschte positiv. Diese große Bestellmenge zeigt deutlich die Beschaffungsnotwendigkeit, nachdem kleinere Mengen in den vergangenen 30 Monaten als Aufträge immer wieder verschoben wurden. CeoTronics, Weltmarktführer bei Kommunikation unter erschwerten Umgebungsbedingungen (WKN 540 740), liefert die 4.500 Systeme Contact-Com (beim Sprechen nehmen Mikrofone die Vibration der Schädeldecke auf und die CeoTronics-Technologie wandelt diese Vibration in einwandfreie Sprache per Funk um) bis Dezember 2000.
