নন্দ উৎসব পালন দুরন্ত বার্তা, করণদিঘি, ৩১ আগস্ট ঃ রাজবংশী সম্প্রদায়ের ঐতিহ্যবাহী নারকেল খেলা অনুষ্ঠিত হলো করণদিঘিতে। মূলত জন্মাষ্টমীর পরের দিন থেকে সাত দিন ধরে এই খেলা উৎসবের মত পালিত হয় রাজবংশী সম্প্রদায় অধ্যুষিত এলাকায়। উত্তর দিনাজপুরের হেমতাবাদ, করণদিঘি, কালিয়াগঞ্জ, রায়গঞ্জ এলাকার বিভিন্ন স্থানে এই খেলা হয়ে থাকে। ফাঁকা মাঠে জল ও কাদা দিয়ে তৈরী করা হয় খেলার মাঠ। ওই কাদার মাঝখানে ১টি করে নারিকেল দেওয়া হয়। যা খেলোয়াডরা কেডে নেওয়ার জন্য আপ্রাণ চেষ্টা করতে থাকেন। কেউ একজন ১টি নারকেল নিজের কব্জায় নিতে পারলেই আবার নতন করে নারিকেল দিয়ে শুরু হয় নারিকেল খেলা। শতাব্দী প্রাচীন এই খেলার নাম 'নন্দ উৎসব' বলেই জানা যায়। আজও যা রাজবংশী সম্প্রদায়ের লোকেরা খেলে থাকেন। খেলা শেষ হওয়ার পর ওই খেলার মাঠের কাদা নিজেদের কৃষি জমিতে ছিটেয়ে দিলে ফসল ভালো হয় বলেই কথিত আছে. যা আজও মেনে চলেন রাজবংশী সম্প্রদায়ের মানুষেরা। মঙ্গলবার রাজবংশী সম্প্রদায় অধ্যুষিত করনদিঘি বিধানসভার করনদিঘিতে এই নারিকেল খেলা উৎসব পালিত হয় স্থানীয় তৃণমুল কংগ্ৰেস বিধায়ক গৌতম পালের ব্যবস্থাপনায়। দুর-দরান্তের খেলোয়াড়রা এদিন নারিকেল খেলায় অংশ নিতে আসেন। এই অনুষ্ঠান সম্পর্কে তৃণমূল কংগ্রেসের বিধায়ক গৌতম পাল জানিয়েছেন, এটা করণদিঘির ঐতিহ্য, প্রতিবছর জন্মাষ্টমীর পর নন্দ রাজা এইভাবেই খেলার আয়োজন করেন। সেইভাবেই

গঙ্গাজলঘাটি থানা এলাকার দেউলি মন্দিরে বিয়ে করে নিরাপত্তা চেয়ে বাঁকুড়ার গঙ্গাজলঘাটি তার প্রথম পক্ষের স্ত্রীর। হাসপাতালে শুয়েই এদিন চন্দনাকে থানায় হাজির হন চন্দনা বাউরী ও তাঁর গাড়ির চালক ফোন লাগান কষঃ কিন্তু চন্দনার স্বামী শ্রবন বাউরী ফোন তথা বিজেপি কর্মী কৃষ্ণ কুন্ডু। রাতভর থানায় থাকার পর তোলেন এবং সাফ জানান কথা বলতে দেবেন না তাকো সকালে নিজের শুশুরবাড়িতে ফিরে যান চন্দনা। পরে তার স্বামী শ্রবন বাউরী ফোনে জানান যে, সে একজন ফেসবুক লাইভ করে গোটা ঘটনাটিকে কুৎসা বলে দাবি বিধায়ক। তার মূল্য অনেক। এই কথা শুনতে শুনতে করেছিলেন বিধায়ক চন্দনা বাউরী। এই ঘটনার জেরে দুই আর্তকণ্ঠে চোখের কনায় জল জমে আসে কৃষ্ণের। স্ত্রীর ভালোবাসার যাঁতাকলে পডেই গুরুতর অসম্ব অবস্থায় হাসপাতালে শুয়েই কৃষ্ণ কুন্ডু জানান, তার স্ত্রী চন্দনাকে হাসপাতালে ভর্তি করা হয় চন্দনা বাউরীর গাড়ি চালক আটকে রাখা হয়েছে। কৃষ্ণের দাবী চন্দনা তাকে অনুরোধ কৃষ্ণ কুণ্ডুকে। গত সপ্তাহের শনিবার সন্ধেয় তাঁকে ভর্তি করেছিলেন পালিয়ে যাওয়ার জন্য। পাশাপাশি চন্দনা বিয়ে করা হয় বাঁকড়া মেডিক্যাল কলেজে। ওই যুবকের স্ত্রীর করার কথা বলে এবং ভালোবাসার কথা বলে জানিয়েছিলন দাবি, চন্দনা কাণ্ডে টানাপোড়েনের জেরেই অসুস্থ হয়ে প্রয়োজন হলে বিধায়ক পদ থেকে পদত্যাগ করবেন। তাই পডেছেন ক্ষয়। মঙ্গলবার ফের বমি ও শ্বাসকষ্ট, বকে জালা দু'জন মন্দিরে গিয়ে বিয়ের বন্ধনে আবদ্ধ হন। একরাত্রি নিয়ে বাঁকুড়া মেডিকেলে মেডিসিন বিভাগের ভর্তি হলেন থানায় আশ্রয় নেন। কিন্তু মুহুর্তের মধ্যেই মত বদলান কৃষ্ণ। জন্মাষ্টমীর দিন থেকেই অসুস্থ হয়ে পড়েন তিনি। বিধায়ক চন্দনা বাউরী। কষ্ণের দাবী, জেলা এবং রাজ্য গত সপ্তাহের সোমবার সম্ব হয়ে বাড়ি ফিরলে বাড়িতেই বিজেপির চাপেই তিনি মত বদলাতে বাধ্য হয়েছেন। এখন মানসিক অবসাদে ভুগেন দ্বিতীয় স্বামী কৃষ্ণ কুন্ডু। কোনো কয়েঃর একটাই অপেক্ষা বিধায়ক চন্দনার সাথে একট খাবার না খেয়ে অত্যাধিক মদাপান শুরু করেন বলেই কথা বললেই তার জীবনে ফিরে আসবেন। এদিকে দাবী কষ্ণ কন্ডর প্রথম স্ত্রী রূম্পা কন্ডর। পাশাপাশি বাডিতে মেডিসিন ওয়ার্ডে চিকিৎসার পর চিকিৎসকরা কৃষ্ণকে মানসিক বিভাগে চিকিৎসার পরামর্শ দিয়েছেন। সারাক্ষন চন্দনাকে কাছে পেতে চাইছেন, এমনটাই দাবী

দুরন্ত বার্তা, পুরুলিয়া, ৩১ আগস্ট ঃ বিজেপির বিরুদ্ধে আনা অনাস্থা প্রস্তাবে জয়ী তৃণমূল। মঙ্গলবার পুরুলিয়া জেলার বলরামপুরের বড় উরমা গ্রামপঞ্চায়েত নিজেদের দখলে নিল তৃণমূল কংগ্রেস। জানা গেছে বিগত পঞ্চায়েত নির্বাচনে বড় উরমা গ্রাম পঞ্চায়েত দখল করে বিজেপি। এখানে মোট ১৩টি আসনের মধ্যে বিজেপির ৭ সদস্য জয়ী হন এবং তৃণমূল কংগ্রেসের ৬ জন সদস্য জয়লাভ করেন। বিজেপি এখানে একটি অতিরিক্ত আসনে জয়লাভ করে বোর্ড গঠন করে। কিছুদিন আগে এই পঞ্চায়েতের বিজেপি থেকে জয়ী এবং উপপ্রধান সুরধনী মাঝি হেমব্রম বিজেপি ছেড়ে তৃণমূলে যোগদান করেন। ফলে তৃণমূল এখানে সংখ্যাগরিষ্ঠ হয়ে দাঁড়ায়। আজ তৃণমূলের সদস্যদের আনা অনাস্থা প্রস্তাবের জেরে ভোটাভুটি হওয়ার কথা থাকলেও বিজেপির কোনো সদস্য এদিন পঞ্চায়েতে উপস্থিত হননি। তৃণমূলের সাতজন সদস্য উপস্থিত হওয়ায় নিয়ম অনুযায়ী কোরাম হয়ে যায় এবং রেজুলেশন করে তৃণমূল সংখ্যাগরিষ্ঠ হয়ে যায়। পরে দলীয় সদস্যদের নিয়ে পঞ্চায়েত সমিতির সভাপতি নিতাই মন্ডল জানান, নিয়ম অনুযায়ী তৃণমূল সংখ্যাগরিষ্ঠ হওয়ায় বড় উরমা পঞ্চায়েত দখল নিলাম আমরা। এদিন তৃণমূলের বহু কর্মী-সমর্থকের ভিড় জমলেও বিজেপির কাউকে দেখা যায়নি।

মঙ্গলবার মেগা ক্যাম্প হল বীরভমের নলহাটি-২ ব্লকজুড়ো বিভিন্ন পঞ্চায়েত এলাকায় এদিন মোট পাঁচটি শিবিরের আয়োজন করা হয়। লোহাপুর প্রাথমিক স্বাস্থ্যকেন্দ্রের তত্ত্বাবধানে চলছে করোনা টিকা করনের মেগা ক্যাম্প। প্রত্যেকটি ক্যাম্পে মানুষের ভিড়। ভোর থেকে লাইন পড়ে যায় টিকা নেওয়ার জন্য। সেই ক্যাম্প পরিদর্শন করেছেন লোহাপুর প্রাথমিক স্বাস্থ্য কেন্দ্রের বিএমওএইচ সুরজিৎ কর্মকার। তিনি জানান, এখনও পর্যন্ত ৪২ হাজার মানুষ ভ্যাকসিন নিয়েছেন। এলাকায় জনসংখ্যার ভিত্তিতে এখনও প্রায় এক লাখ মানুষ ভ্যাকসিন নিতে বাকি আছেন। প্রথমদিকে সচেতনতার অভাবে মানুষ এত স্বতঃস্ফর্তভাবে এগিয়ে আসেন নি। তবে এখন ভিড বাড়ছে। লাইনে মানুষকে সচেতনতার বাৰ্তা দিলেন তিনি। সকলকে মুখে মাস্ক লাগিয়ে লাইনে দাঁড়ানোর নির্দেশ দিলেন। জনসংখ্যা অনুযায়ী এলাকায় অনেকটাই কম হয়েছে করোনার টিকাকরণ। তবে আগের তুলনায় এখন অনেক মানুষ এগিয়ে এসেছেন টিকাকরণে। সামনে সার্বিক টিকাকরণের লক্ষ্যে স্বাস্থ্য দফতর। হেলাল সেখ, ছবি বিবিরা জানান.

প্ৰক্ৰিয়া চলছে বলে জানিয়েছেন অভিজিৎ। তিনি বলেন, জঙ্গিপুর ছিল বাবার দ্বিতীয় বাড়ি। এই জঙ্গিপুর থেকে জিতেই বাবা প্রথমবার লোকসভায় গিয়েছিলেন। তাই এখানকার মানুষের প্রতি বাবার অন্যরকম একটা ভালোবাসা ছিল। সময় পেলেই তিনি এখানে ছুটে আসতেন। জঙ্গিপুরের প্রতি তিনি ছিলেন একান্ত আবেগপ্ৰবণ। তাই তার আবেগ অনুভূতিকে সম্মান জানাতে জঙ্গিপুর ভবনের একতলাকে মিউজিয়াম করার সিদ্ধান্ত নিই। দিল্লির রাষ্ট্রপতিভবন থেকে তার বইগুলি যতগুলি সম্ভব সংগ্ৰহ করে এখানে এনে সাজিয়ে রাখার ব্যবস্থা করছি। অভিজিৎ বাব আরও জানান, একেবারেই ঘরোয়াভাবে মিউজিয়ামটি সাজিয়ে তোলা হবে। তিনি যেখানে যেরকম ভাবে বসতেন, সেখানে সেই রকমভাবে আসবাবপত্র এবং তার ব্যবহৃত জিনিসগুলি রাখা হবে। এর জন্য আমি একজন জাদ্ঘর বিশেষজ্ঞের খোঁজ চালাচিছ। বিশেষজ্ঞের সন্ধান পেলে আশা করি খুব শীঘ্ৰই সঠিকভাবে মিউজিয়ামে জিনিসগুলি রাখার কাজ শুরু করে দিতে পারব। প্রসঙ্গত, ২০২০ সালের ৩১ আগস্ট মৃত্যু হয় প্রাক্তন রাষ্ট্রপতি

থানার পঞ্চাননতলা মোড়ে মুর্শিদাবাদ জেলা প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয় সংসদের সামনে অবস্থান বিক্ষোভে সামিল হলেন। তাদের অভিযোগ, ১৬ হাজার ৫০০ প্ৰাথমিক শিক্ষক নিয়োগ প্ৰক্ৰিয়াতে ডিএলএড উত্তীৰ্ণরা বঞ্চিত হয়েছেন তাদের দাবি, দুর্গাপুজোর আগেই তাদের নিয়োগ করতে হবে। বেশিরভাগ ডিএলএড উত্তীর্ণ পরীক্ষার্থীদের বয়স ৪০ বছরের মধ্যে। তাদের যদি দ্রুত নিয়োগ করা না হয় তাহলে তাদের বয়স বেড়ে যাবে তখন তারা সরকারি চাকরির সুযোগ থেকে বঞ্চিত হবেন। এদিন তাঁরা জেলা প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয় সংসদের আধিকারিককে ডেপুটেশন জমা দেন। আব্দুল আলিম নাম এক ডিএলএড উত্তীৰ্ণ পরীক্ষার্থী বলেন, আমরা ২০১৪ সালে এই পরীক্ষাতে উত্তীর্ণ হয়েছি। এনসিইআরটি-র নির্দেশিকা অনুযায়ী প্রাথমিক স্কুলে চাকরি পাওয়ার সমস্ত যোগ্যতা আমাদের রয়েছে। তবু কোনও এক অজ্ঞাত কারণে আজও আমরা প্রাথমিক স্কুলে নিয়োগ পাইনি। রাজ্যের মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা ব্যানার্জির কাছে ডিএলএড উত্তীর্ণ পরীক্ষার্থীরা অনুরোধ করেন তাঁরা। বলেন, দ্রুত আমাদের কর্মস্থলে নিয়োগের অনুমোদন না দিলে আমাদের মধ্যে অনেকের আর সরকারি চাকরি পাওয়ার বয়স থাকবে না। আমরা আশা করছি রাজ্য সরকার দুর্গাপুজোর আগে সকল ডিএলএড উত্তীর্ণদের সরকারি প্রাথমিক স্কুলে নিয়োগের ব্যবস্থা করবে। সরকার যদি সম্পূর্ণ বিষয়ে উদাসীন থাকে তবে আমরা পুজোর পর বৃহত্তর আন্দোলনের পথে যাব।

দুরন্ত বার্তা, জলপাইগুড়ি, ৩১ আগস্ট ঃ করোনার সঙ্গে লড়াইয়ে মোক্ষম অন্ত্র ভ্যাকসিন। কিন্তু রাজ্যের কাছে কম ভ্যাকসিনের জোগান দিচ্ছে কেন্দ্র। তাই চাপ বাড়ছে সৰ্বত্ৰ। আর তাই মাঝে মাঝেই ঘটছে অপ্রীতিকর ঘটনা। যেমন আজ ঘটেছে জলপাইগুড়ির বানারহাট এলাকায়। ভ্যাকসিন নিতে হুড়োহুড়িতে পদপিষ্ট হয়েছেন বহু মানুষ। ভ্যাকসিন ক্যাম্পে ভিড়। ভিড় উপচে ভেঙে যায় গেট। লোহার গেটের উপর পড়ে এবং পদপিষ্ট হয়ে গুরুতর আহত ২০-২৫ জন। ঘটনাটি ঘটেছে জলপাইগুড়ি জেলার বানারহাট ব্লকের শালবাড়ি ১ নং গ্রাম পঞ্চায়েতের দুরামারি এলাকায়। এদিন জলপাইগুড়ি জেলার দুরামারিতে ভোররাত থেকেই ভ্যাকসিনের জন্য দুরামারি চন্দ্রকান্ত হাইস্কুলের গেটের সামনে লাইনে দাঁড়ান প্রচুর মানুষ। যখন স্কুলের গেট খুলে দেওয়া হয় ঠিক তখনই শুরু হয়ে যায় হুড়োহুড়ি। আর এতেই মানুষের চাপা পড়ে বেশ কয়েকজন আহত হন। অনেকেই আহত অবস্থায় পড়ে থাকেন, পরে তাদের সকলকে প্রাথমিক চিকিৎসার জন্য প্রথমে

দুরন্ত বার্তা, মালদা, ৩১ আগস্ট ঃ রাস্তা সারাইয়ের দাবিতে রাজ্য সড়ক অবরোধ করে বিক্ষোভ গ্রামবাসীদের। মঙ্গলবার সকালে ঘটনাটি ঘটে ইংরেজবাজার থানার কোতয়ালি তারাকালী মোড়ে মালদা-রতুয়া রাজ্য সড়কে। জানা যায়, দীর্ঘদিন ধরেই কোতয়ালি গ্রাম পঞ্চায়েত এলাকায় তারাকালী মোড়ে রাস্তার বেহাল দশা। তার মধ্যে একটু বৃষ্টি হলেই ড্রেনের জল উপচে রাস্তা জলমগ্ন হয়ে পড়ে। যার কারনে মাঝেমধ্যেই দুর্ঘটনা ঘটে এখানে। এই অভিযোগ দীর্ঘদিনের। পঞ্চায়েতকে জানিয়েও সুরাহা না হওয়ায় অবশেষে বাধ্য হয়েই গ্রামের মহিলা সহ এলাকার বাসিন্দারা মঙ্গলবার সকাল ন'টা থেকে রাস্তায় বাস আটকে পথ অবরোধ শুরু করেন। ঘন্টা দেডেক পর ইংরেজবাজার থানার পুলিশ ঘটনাস্থলে গিয়ে এলাকাবাসীকে আশ্বস্ত করলে পথ অবরোধ উঠে যায়।

বলেন, বিনামূল্যে টিকা সকলের প্রাপ্য। রাজ্য সরকারের কোনও নাাত নেই। স্বাস্থ্য দফতর কোনও স্বচ্ছ পদক্ষেপ করেনি। ফলে, মানুষ সমস্যায় পড়ছে। সংশ্লিষ্ট মহলের মতে, রাজ্যের স্বাস্থ্যভবন টিকাকরণের ক্ষেত্রে যে নির্দেশ দিয়েছে, তা কিছুই মানা হচ্ছে না। রাজ্যে টিকার জোগান পর্যাপ্ত থাকলেও কেন টিকাকরণে এত বিশঙ্খলা, উঠছে প্রশ্না বিশ্লেষকদের মতে, সরকারি টিকাকরণের ক্ষেত্রে অনেক জায়গাতেই স্পষ্ট করে কোনও নির্দেশ দেওয়া হয়নি। একদিনে কতজনকে টিকা দেওয়া হবে, টিকার কোন ডোজ দেওয়া হবে, টিকাকেন্দ্রে সৰ্বোচ্চ কতজন উপস্থিত থাকতে পারবে, এই কোনও নির্দেশই সেভাবে দেওয়া হচ্ছে না। বেশিরভাগ জায়গাতেই সেই এলাকার শাসক শিবিরের নেতৃত্ব, কাউন্সিলর, মেয়রের মাধ্যমে টিকাকরণের কর্মসূচী নিয়ন্ত্রিত হছে। এই কারণে এই বিশৃঙ্খলা। প্ৰসঙ্গত, এদিনই জলপাইগুড়ির ধূপগুড়িতে ভ্যাকসিন নেওয়ার
