Centuria Capital Group

Completion of Acquisition of 360 Capital Group Platform

Sydney, 9 January 2017:

Centuria Capital Group (ASX: CNI) ( Centuria ) has today completed its acquisition of the property funds management platform of 360 Capital Group and its co-investments in the 360 Capital Industrial Fund (ASX: TIX) and the 360 Capital Office Fund (ASX: TOF).

The transaction transforms Centuria into one of the largest pure-play Australian property funds managers with $2.8 billion in property FUM comprised of two market leading listed REIT’s and its mature unlisted property funds management portfolio. Centuria’s investment bond business, conducted by Centuria Life, controls a further $800 million making total group FUM of $3.6 billion.

The listed 360 Capital Office Fund will be renamed Centuria Urban REIT and as previously announced, assuming favourable market conditions, there is the potential to put forward to unitholders a merger proposal involving Centuria Metropolitan REIT (ASX: CMA). The listed 360 Capital Industrial Fund will be renamed Centuria Industrial REIT.

Group CEO John McBain commented:

“This transaction significantly increases Centuria Capital’s market capitalisation as a group and in particular changes the composition of its earnings which will be now heavily weighted in favour of recurring income.”

“The broader investor register is another very positive outcome of the equity raising we have completed and we believe that we are now in a far stronger position to raise funds at a group level and within the REITs to support further growth”.
