Centuria Capital Announces Senior Management Appointments

Centuria Capital “ASX:CNI” announces the following senior management appointments effective 21 June 2019:

Jason Huljich appointed joint CEO alongside John McBain who remains in a full-time capacity as joint CEO

Ross Lees appointed Head of Funds Management
Centuria Capital has experienced rapid growth with assets under management now exceeding $6.0 billion[1] . This growth is as a result of a well defined and executed strategy. To continue delivering on the Group’s growth ambitions the Board has undertaken a long term strategic planning exercise part of which is the reinforcement and future-proofing of its senior management team.
Centuria Capital Chairman, Garry Charny, said:
“The Board has formed the view that the optimal senior management structure to meet its growth objectives is to appoint Jason Huljich, alongside John McBain, as joint Chief Executive.”
“For more than twenty years, John and Jason have built the Centuria platform to a point where it is recognised as a leader in its field. Jason is intrinsically part of the DNA of Centuria and this promotion has been championed by his co-founder and joint CEO, John McBain. The Board could not imagine two better stewards to collectively nurture the company in the years ahead and continue its growth and successes for the benefit of all securityholders.”
The pair have enjoyed a seamless 21 year working relationship which has added significant value to Centuria securityholders. The are themselves substantial securityholders in the Group and their interests are rigidly aligned with those of all investors. Both executives have indicated to the Board their desire to continue to work closely together to unlock what they believe is Centuria’s significant growth potential.
John McBain congratulated Jason Huljich on the appointment and said in addition “Centuria has a strong commitment to promote from within and is pleased to announce Ross Lees, currently fund manager to Centuria Industrial REIT “CIP”, has been appointed Head of Funds Management across the entire Group. Ross has made a strong contribution in his current role and will ably support both
