Share Repurchase Programme

Centrica plc announces that on 30 October 2014, it purchased (through Goldman Sachs International) 1,100,000 (one million one hundred thousand) Centrica plc ordinary shares at an average price of 298.1317 pence per share. The highest price and the lowest price paid for these shares were 299.90 pence and 296.30 pence respectively.

The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. As at the date of this announcement, Centrica plc holds 70,992,561 ordinary shares in treasury and has 4,974,597,917 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
