Share Repurchase Programme

Centrica plc announces that on 21 October 2014, it purchased (through Goldman Sachs International) 1,100,000 (one million one hundred thousand) Centrica plc ordinary shares at an average price of 293.3356 pence per share. The highest price and the lowest price paid for these shares were 294.80 pence and 291.70 pence respectively.

The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. As at the date of this announcement, Centrica plc holds 63,327,818 ordinary shares in treasury and has 4,982,262,660 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
