Share Repurchase Programme

Centrica plc announces that on 17 October 2013, it purchased (through Credit Suisse Securities (Europe) Limited) 1,000,000 (one million) Centrica plc ordinary shares at an average price of 365.90 pence per share. The highest price and the lowest price paid for these shares were 368.40 pence and 362.90 pence respectively.

The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. As at the date of this announcement, Centrica plc holds 81,625,394 ordinary shares in treasury and has 5,118,304,298 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
