Share Repurchase Programme

Centrica plc announces that on 4 October 2013, it purchased (through Credit Suisse Securities (Europe) Limited) 1,200,000 (one million, two hundred thousand) Centrica plc ordinary shares at an average price of 366.41 pence per share. The highest price and the lowest price paid for these shares were 368.00 pence and 365.00 pence respectively.

The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. As at the date of this announcement, Centrica plc holds 70,976,203 ordinary shares in treasury and has 5,128,953,489 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
