Share Repurchase Programme

Centrica plc announces that on 28 June 2013, it purchased (through Goldman Sachs International) 939,269 (nine hundred and thirty nine thousand two hundred and sixty nine) Centrica plc ordinary shares at an average price of 360.9042 pence per share. The highest price and the lowest price paid for these shares were 362.40 pence and 359.00 pence respectively.

The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. As at the date of this announcement, Centrica plc holds 40,039,589 ordinary shares in treasury and has 5,159,890,103 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
