Total Voting Rights

In conformity with the Disclosure and Transparency Rules (‘the Rules’), we notify the market of the following:

As at 30 September 2014, the issued capital of the Company comprised 4,998,494,801 ordinary shares, of 614/81 pence (Shares). This figure excludes 61,433,480 Shares held in treasury. All of the issued Shares carry voting rights of one vote per share.

The figure of 4,998,494,801 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the Rules.
