DISPOSAL OF LINCS OFFSHORE WIND FARM TRANSMISSION ASSETS

Lincs Wind Farm Limited has completed the sale of the transmission assets at the 270MW Lincs offshore wind farm to TC Lincs OFTO Limited for £308 million.

The disposal is in line with regulations requiring offshore wind farm generators to divest their transmission assets to an offshore transmission owner (OFTO) post-construction.

Lincs Wind Farm Limited is a joint venture between Centrica Energy (50%), DONG Energy (25%) and Siemens Project Ventures (25%), the equity investment arm of Siemens Financial Services.
