Following implementation of the new Transparency Directive II Regulation Centrica plc (“the Company”) received notice from Invesco Limited on 15 February 2016 (under the obligations imposed by Section 5 of the FCA's Disclosure & Transparency Rules) that on 12 February 2016, Invesco Limited had a notifiable interest in 253,538,074 ordinary shares of 614/81 pence each in the Company, representing approximately 5% of the Company’s issued share capital.
